Where does my money actually go?

Every cedi goes to one of three programs, all for children: hospital bills for children in pediatric wards, street children outreach in Accra, and basic needs kits delivered at community outreaches. Figures and receipts are published in our annual report.

Is DacareGH a registered foundation?

DacareGH was established in memory of Derrick Antwi and operates in Ghana. Our annual report is published each January, and every record is open to review.

Can I give from outside Ghana?

Yes. International cards and mobile wallets are accepted on the Causes page. Amounts are shown in Ghana Cedis (GHS); your bank converts at the market rate.

How do you choose which families to help?

Cases come to us through hospital social workers, community leaders, and referrals from families we have already served. Every case is verified in person before a single cedi is released.

Can I volunteer or partner with the Foundation?

Yes. Doctors, nurses, teachers, and organisations working in health and education are welcome. Write to us using the form on this page and tell us where you are and what you would like to contribute.

Do you accept in-kind donations?

Accepted Answer

For medical supplies, school materials, and clothing, yes. Please email us first so we can confirm the current need and route the donation to a family or unit that can use it immediately.
